In situations where a Battlefield 2042 All-Out Warfare match cannot bring 128 players together for a match, EA DICE will instead fill the match with bots. As exciting as that is, Battlefield fans likely understand that getting 128 players in every match is no simple task. With that in mind, Electronic Arts confirmed Battlefield 2042 will feature the series' biggest multiplayer mode of all time, a 128-player All-Out Warfare mode available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The next major Battlefield game is set in the near future and focuses on multiplayer, dropping single-player entirely. Leading into E3 2021, Electronic Arts officially unveiled Battlefield 2042.
